Resurrect a Thirsty Thursday!!

Good Morning Most Magnificent Educators! My Resurrection week is almost over!  I hope you have been a little more revived each day! Today is Thirsty Thursday! Go back in your mind to when you were just graduating college and you had a thirst for teaching. When you were so excited to be molding and shaping children’s lives. Teach from that space! Remember why you decided to be a teacher in the first place. People tried to tell you that teachers don’t get paid a lot but you didn’t care because it was you passion! Try to find that space in your mind every time you step foot in the classroom! And as my teacher, Ms Gilliam used to say, “You bet your sweet bippies” Wonderful things will happen daily in your classroom!

Daily Affirmations: I am so excited to be shaping and molding the lives of my students. I am making a difference to the planet! I enjoy teaching! It is my passion! It is my life! I expect greatness everyday from my students. Everyone in my class is prepared for the future. They will always remember my teachings! I bless everyone of my students with love! Resurrect A Wellbeing Wednesday!

It’s a Great Morning to be an Educator! Just please take care of yourself. I’m learning that life is really simple and easy. I’m also learning that what Napoleon Hill said is true. “Anything the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” During this resurrection week, we are going places in our mind and dwelling there. Whether it’s joy, peace, courageousness, love, or wellbeing; we have to find it in our minds first. So today go to that place in your mind where you have the optimum health: You are sleeping and waking easily, you are able to laugh a lot, you are moving and not stiff, you are having wonderful experiences everywhere you go. Just imagine that. Then teach from that place of wellbeing! Wonderful things will start to happen! Your most disagreeable students will become as pleasant as your favorite. You’ll see! Just make a habit out of teaching from your imagined place of wellbeing. .  . .  You’ll see!

Daily Affirmations:

Life is simple and easy! I take joy in the work I do! I am making a difference in the future of our planet! It is easy for me to imagine! Teaching fun, it’s easy, it’s great! I teach with joy, love, and ease. My students return the joy and love and learn with ease! I love the people I work with and they love me! My job aides in my wellbeing! I find peace at work!  ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove

Resurrection Day!

Most days like this are symbolic anyway so let’s use today to symbolically go back in our minds and resurrect a time in our life when we felt good about ourselves. Resurrect a time in your life where you just wish it would never end! Where things seem to go as planned and everything worked out! Resurrect a time in your life where you felt as if you deserved to be great! Just typing the words, I can’t help but smile! Even if you can’t remember any of those times. . . . .  daydream a little and create those times in your dreams! You will smile and when you can make yourself smile by thinking about yourself; that’s where you want to be!happy resurrection-page-001

Freaky Friday!

The first time it happens, it’s kind of weird. I mean when your affirmations start to show themselves in your experiences! When the children that get on your nerves the most, become so pleasant that you actually enjoy being around them, It’s a little freaky! When the thing that used to be your “pet peeve” happens and you just smile realizing that it’s not big deal, it’s a little  freaky. When changes like this start happening for you. It will be freaky for you and your students. Personally this flips and flops for me about 50% of the time. Somedays I’m really on it mentally; where I have created my peaceful haven and some days I’m back to the old “You gonna do what I told you to do” Demby. LOL! But it seems like once the children have seen that you allow for their different behaviors and you don’t try to force to fit into your box; they won’t let you go back to the old way. So I say keep pushing until your total mind set and believes have changed! Just remember affirmations are not to change your students, they only work on you!

Daily Affirmations:

I am happy at all times! My joy is constantly increasing! My peace is constantly increasing! I love teaching! I teach with ease! My students learn with ease! My affirmations are changing my life for the better! All of my changes are for the better! I love my life! I trust the process of life. I no longer need to control other people to be happy! I can always find a reason to be happy!
