Be the Change Before Can See the Change

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! As I was teaching yesterday, I noticed my kindergarteners were really not following the rule about raising your hand to talk to me. They are just comfortable around where they we can have dialogue. Oh yeah! By the way, I found out calling someone baby is a bad word! LOL ! Anyway. . . Back to not raising hands. The old Mr. Demby would say, ” Demby you gotta have these children for the next 5 years so let them have it! ” I would’ve yelled and made them very afraid to break a rule in my room. However this time, I sang a low operatic bass note, and simply said “Babies if you have something to what do we do when we’re at school”? I’ve learned through the years that anger normally breeds more anger. And that’s what a lot our schools have become. Last year after experiencing things thrown across my room by angry students and posters ripped off the wall by angry students; I decided then I needed to change.

Do we have to demonize someone because they don’t conform to our way of doing things? How can we still accomplish the same goals, but let them be who they are? Is a child laying down reading or standing up reading so bad? These are questions I ask myself as I am changing to love and understanding rather than anger and criticism.

Daily Affirmations: Today is a Most Wonderful Awesome Day. I choose to move forward with joy and ease. I release the need to control others. I truly love and respect myself. Just Bless with Love!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Today as I was driving to the gym, I noticed my thoughts. And I must say. . . . LOL! I have some anger issues. Every time someone would get in my way, the angry words and thoughts come to my mind. Then I’d laugh it off and turn it into a joke. This happened at least 10 times in my 6 minute drive to the gym. So as I was walking on the walking machine. . LOL! , I decided; I’m going to just bless people with love instead of anger. So just as I walked out of the gym I smiled and said “Good Morning ” to a lady as we passed. She didn’t speak back or acknowledge, so you know the angry words and thoughts came followed by jokes. Okay it didn’t work that time, but on the way home I blessed at least 3 people with love. I’m going to see how many people today that I can bless with love!

Daily Affirmations: Today is a Terrific day. I choose to move with joy and ease. I am a wonderful person. I love and approve of myself. It is safe to be me in every situation. It’s Fun Friday!!!

I Am Perfect!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I get up and go to gym every morning not because I need to have body like a model. More so just to be a little healthier and to make sure I move a little more. Last year I realized that I had started even sitting to teach. LOL! Not good! LOL ! You start getting angry because the kids make you get out of your seat. Lord Help! Anyway this morning in the gym, I saw all types of body variations. Which made me realize that God made us all different and we are perfect just the way he made us. He our bodies laws just like he gave the universe. What you give to your body, it will give it back to you! I feel tired all the time, maybe give your body a little more activity. Your body will give it back to you in energy. I remember the commercial that said “a body in motion likes to stay in motion”. This is now my mantra! I give my perfect body movement, good food, and rest; and my perfect body give me perfect health! Whatever you do, don’t try to compare your perfect body with someone else! You are perfect in every way!

Daily Affirmations: Today is a Terrific day. I am excited about life. My body is amazing. My body is perfect in every way. It is safe for me to look in the mirror. I Know I’m Safe!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! This morning I was driving to the gym as I normally do. I was stopped at the light and this guy was walking towards my car. I immediately got frightened and rolled up my window and prepared for the worst. Then I noticed his security uniform and he was just getting ready to cross the street. “Where did that thought come from”, I wondered? So I just started reminding myself that I was loved and safe. No matter what, I am loved by all life and I am safe. Maybe Lil’ Kyri needed to hear that. So I said it over and over! “I am loved and I am safe”!

Daily Affirmations : Today is a Wonderful day! I choose to feel good about myself. I am loved by all life and I am safe. I live in a safe and secure world. Everyone is always helpful. Keep Me Where The Light Is

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I love the singer John Mayer. I was listening his song Gravity the other day. He ends it by saying keep me where the light is. It then occurred to me that for someone who wants to stay in the light; a little darkness will go a long way. Focusing on darkness can really bring down quicker than anything else. I went to as symposium the other day. It focused on the biblical implications of rape. To me, I think church should be totally focused on the one who brings light. But that’s just me. Either way, I had to get out. It literally started to make me sick just listen to the focused darkness. So I say. .. keep me where the light is! Never focus on the dark days of life. Stay in the light! Even in darkness, turn your focus toward the light!

Child I Can Only Control Me!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! As I get older, I realize that I’m too old for mind games. The ones that people try to use on me and the ones I try to use on others. Sometimes they’re not intentional. Case in point. A close friend came to visit me. They went and spent the night with one of their other friends without telling me. When I woke up and discovered this, I got into a tissy. And started texting and calling. “We’re getting ready to have a problem” I said. “Why didn’t you let me know?” Really? Looking back even if he would’ve told me he was going somewhere, I still would’ve worried. He’s not responsible for controlling my worrying. Only I can control my worrying, so I don’t have time to try and control anyone else.

Napoleon Hill says Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. However I say, “Whatever the mind of man can believe and his mouth can speak, he must achieve. For many years, I listened to Louise Hay and Abraham Hicks but never really spoke the words. Life changes didn’t come until I spoke the words. So y’all let’s start talking about our life like we want it to be.
