Just a Thought! Truly Just a Thought!

Hey Y’all! I was laying bed watching The Prince of Egypt on Hulu. I took off work this morning to go to the doctor. Anywho. . . I was thinking about how the end of Most movies about Moses. They the crossing of the Red Sea the most Majestic event ever. It is an awesome event. But if you read the rest of Exodus, you will see that most of those people that saw the Mighty move of God, died before they experienced the land of riches. The movies don’t show 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. This was after God had already showed them how great and powerful he was. They had been praying and begging God to make a change in their life for many years. Then things started happening for them to realize the vision of freedom that they had prayed and begged for. However after their freedom was realized, they still didn’t make it to the promised land. ( the land of riches. . .flowing with milk and honey)

This is a lesson not about freedom but about mindset. Even if God does miraculous work to help you physically, you have to change your mindset. If you keep the same Slave mentally, you will never realize the blessings in store for you. Case in point, I grew up very poor. It was an act of God that I was able attend college. People and events tried to turn me around and make me quit. But by the hand of God I graduated. However, my mindset was still the mindset of poverty. So as a working adult, I spend almost ever pay period with my account in the negative. I was playing catch-up all the time. ” I might as well spend this before it gets taken ” ” I spent my whole life not having, so now I’m getting everything I want” These thoughts kept me broke and struggling. I just recently changed the way I think about money. I’ve now started sacrificing my usual traveling and eating out, to investing and saving. I now feel as if I’m building wealth and residual income. Now because my mind is a money magnet, I’m attracting more money and keeping it!

It all in your thought process!
