I’ve got a race to run, and I’m running by faith. At the finishing line, I wanna see my God’s face.” My question is this question and you’re finishing line? What is it that you want to do with your life? What is that that’s blocking you from doing it? Who is that this blocking you from doing it? Well, it’s time to tell them or it to move out of the way.

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!! What if winning in life came easy? Would you take advantage of it? What if all you had to do was set your mind and “I’m going to win today and this is how”? I believe that winning in life does come easy. Just make up in your mind that you are going to win. We set our own standards for winning. All we have to do is say to ourselves what winning is. This may be the problem. Les Brown says most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but because they aim too low and hit. Some don’t even aim at all. So if we are going to win in life, we need to set our standards high for the prize that life has to offer. I remember a few years ago I was listening to a song on my way to work that said “Praise the Lord We are Millionaires”. The person riding with me got very upset about that song. Now we were just talking the other day about being rich and expecting to live that millionaire lifestyle but I guess when it was time to actually set his mind, he wasn’t ready. Well I say set your mind and aim for the prize and you will always win!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I am so happy and grateful that the school is almost over! This week we are doing our state test and you know they want me to keep the kids quiet. Yeah right! LOL! You can’t teach music quietly. I try but it’s always one kid who gets too excited about “The Old Lady who Swallowed the Spider” that wriggle and jiggled and tickled inside her. LOL! Then it’s get’s louder and louder from that point. Either way we have a good time. However by time I get the older kids after the test, they are spent and have nothing left. So I just let them have free choice instrument play for a few minutes and then sing for a few minutes. We just kept alternating this during the class. I’m saying all of this just to say this week has been fun but stressful. I am thankful that the students respect me enough to try to control their emotions when they are with me. One teacher walked in the other day and said, “Watch out for So and So, he’s been acting bad all day.” To which So and so blurts out and says, “Yeah right I love Mr. Demby, why would I act up in his class!” That made me smile!

I am thankful for my job, my co workers, my family, my friends; they all love and support me.
