It’s Friday. . . Oh Thank Heavens!!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Powerful World Changers! Everyday is a Day of Thanksgiving! I stand in appreciation of the love God shows us everyday! Today I am especially glad it’s Friday! This has been a wonderful week! It’s not like I’ve been waiting for Friday to close this horrible week. Nope that’s not it! All week long God has been giving me reason to be joyful! I can’t wait to see what he will send my way today! I’m looking forward to each new hour!  My students and I read my affirmation “ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD” everyday and one of  5th graders slyly said yesterday, “All is well in the world? You must not watch the news?” I answered no I don’t. He says, “Yeah it is kind of depressing.” This kind of made me sad that our children don’t see our world as a safe place to be. However one of my other students came in and said, “That’s why he says All is well, because that’s what he is wishing for!” They seem to understand, then they read it again! That brought me joy! There is always reasons to rejoice! There are miracles all around! Have a Happy Friday!!!!!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! There are Miracles all around and they are for me! I am vibrant and alive! I love myself! I flow easily with life! Testify Thursday!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!! This has been an Awesome week!!! The children have been behaving just as they are supposed to. There was this one time this week when the controlling Mr. Demby came out and it kind of scared a few children. Really it scared me enough that I made the whole class meditate. I was screaming at the kids because they kept making mistakes and bumping into each other. Several of them were rolling around on the floor. They were just plain Loopy! So after I made about three of them cry, I realized we couldn’t continue like that. So I stopped and turned out the lights and made everybody sit and close their eyes. We then meditated for 6 minutes. It helped us both! The rest of the day was smooth sailing!

Allowed to be Out of Control

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!! I was just thinking about what happened yesterday. I had another teacher in my room. I won’t go into the why. (LONG STORY) Anyway, she stayed in my room the whole day. It seemed as if the children were out of control. They weren’t doing anything but talking out of turn. I felt the urge to try to control the talking and pass out punishments because I felt embarrassed. However, I resisted that urge and I ended up having a wonderful day! Sometimes allowing other people to be themselves and who they are will help you more than it helps them. It makes life so much more easier when you realize that only God is in control and you don’t have to go through life controlling everything and everyone.

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Awesome and Amazing Day! I have released the need to control everything and everyone. I trust the process of life. I trust God to bring me my highest good! Let’s Celebrate!!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Powerful World Changers! Today is a new day, so let’s celebrate! Yesterday is over! Anything that didn’t go so well yesterday has been released and let go. We can move forward with joy in this new day! I’m expecting new miracles today! So Let’s Celebrate!  I try not to dwell in the past. whether it was a victory or failure, it has passed. Even in my classroom, I tell the students, “I’m gonna make you right the next time you come.” They know Mr. Demby is not going to remember. so they just say “Yes sir” and leave as quickly as possible. LOL!!! They know with me the start fresh! That’s why I celebrate my new days! I celebrate the new by forgetting the past and rejoicing in the surprises of today!

Might as Well. . . .

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Life is short so we might as well. . . . . How many times have you heard this? Most of the time something destructive follows; like smoking, drinking, drugs. . .  etc. . . . or something fun like bungee jumping, sky diving, mountain climbing. . . . .Well I say Life is short, so we might as well go after our dreams! I’m a teacher! I when I was in college, I couldn’t wait to be a teacher! My dream in life was to be a teacher! We’re off in the summer, we get all those holidays, we get health care, and other benefits! But years ago, my mind was opened to a whole new world. I didn’t want to be in the classroom anymore. I had a dream for my life! I could write books and teach teachers how to have a more positive classroom environment! It was scary stepping outside of the classroom. i didn’t know what to do. It seemed as I was going backward but  I had plenty of freedom, I was doing a few workshops, and selling a few books every now and then. The money from this wasn’t enough to have the lifestyle I was used to while I was teaching. So I went back into the classroom. I felt I was back in bondage. Instead fording ahead and making my dreams work, I went back to doing what I though was safe. However, with budget cuts and things coming down the line. Being a music teacher is not a safe position to have. So if there is a possibility to fail doing something you don’t want to do, you might as well jump towards your dreams!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Awesome Day! I am determined. I am alive and vibrant! I love my life! I am doing what I love. I am making enough money to supply my needs and provide my wants. Ask and Ye Shall Receive

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Have you ever asked somebody to something, but you asked from the stand point of the victim? I’m sure your request was not granted. They show it on horror movies all the time. The victim is screaming, “Please don’t kill me!” and what ends up happening? SPLAT! that’s the one he kills. But the one who survives is the one who gathers themselves and chooses not to be the helpless victim. No matter how bad the killer hurts them, they are still determined to survive. The Bible says, ask and ye shall receive. However, the universe and it’s Creator (God) only hear your thoughts. If you asking for more money but in your mind you’re saying, “Woe is me. I’ve always been poor” What do you think you will receive? Many times we don’t realize what we’re doing to ourself. We might say, “I want to be a millionaire!” But in our minds we are saying, “Look at those rich people on TV, they are so wasteful.” If you don’t appreciate the rich people you see, what do you think the universe hears? Tony Robbins says Ask intelligently, and ye shall recieve. In order to do this, you have to think about what you think about. Go back in life and look at the ungranted request, and honestly think about what your mental state was at that time. Look at it this way. As a teacher or parent, when you ask your children to do something, you expect them to do it; no questions asked.When you ask from this mind-set, they do it! Start asking God, expecting it to be done and focus only on that. Don’t focus on why you need it and how bad things have been. Otherwise you will go back to not receiving .

Testify Thursday!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends!!!!! I don’t know aout you, but we have been in school for almost 3 weeks now! I am super excited! My children have been behaving quite nicely! Truly all is well in my classroom. Today is just a day of reflection! I thank God for allowing me to have such a peaceful and wonderful classroom! I was telling another teacher, “If talking is the only rule the children are breaking, I can handle that”. I just let them talk and wait paitiently for them to get quiet when I need to say something. My classroom is a peaceful haven and I am totally grateful!

Stretch Yourself!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends!!! I heard a commercial say, “A body in motion, likes to stay in motion”. This is the reason we should always stretch every morning and keep our bodies moving. If you are a vocalist, you start warming up and stretching your voice before you start using it. This is how we should do with our minds! How wonderful it would be if our thinking could be stretched and easily flow with change. So let’s stretch our minds past the old way of thinking. Find books, blogs, seminars, and videos that are different than the way you believe and listen with love. You might be able to take something from it. Now I never read or listen to people that spew hate and intolerance. I try to find new ideals about life to learn from. I take what I can use and discard the rest! Just like when the movie “The Secret” was released, I hadn’t heard of the Law of Attraction before. When I would tell people about it, they would say, “You better leave that junk alone”. Now there are great deals of books, videos, and teachers that teach the law of attraction. Stretch Yourself: Learn Something New!

Push Through It!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends! What do you do when it feels like you could just stay in the bed all day? You push through it! What do you do when you feel like you can’t go on? You push  through it! What do you do when you feel like all hope is gone? You push through it! There is always hope! Sometimes our feelings can take us to places where we don’t want to be but we have to remember; a feeling is just a thought and thoughts can be changed. We can choose joy! Pushing through it might mean just finding the best feeling thought that you can. It might mean listening to a fun exciting song or watching a funny video. I let go of whatever happened last week and look forward! “I am determined to run all the way” as the gospel song says! This week I will accomplish all the things that I need to accomplish! I will do only what brings me Joy and Ease! All the other stuff will not get my full attention! I am speaking joy and ease into my classroom! My students know that I have forgotten about what happened last week. Every Monday is a fresh start! We are ready to learn! Every experience is an opportunity to learn and grow!
