Shake and Stretch

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I had a wonderful weekend It was awfully busy! The lesson gathered from this weekend was to shake off your old ways of thinking. Those ways that don’t make your life work better – Shake it off! Those ways that close off your way of thinking – Shake it off! Those ways that keep you joyfully jailed in your job and not ever living your dream – Shake it off! Then after you shake off all those thoughts that don’t serve you anymore, you have to stretch yourself! This means expanding your circle. Getting to know new people. Talking to people who you would have never talked to before. Stretch yourself means to expand your mind. Take a class. Find someone who is doing what you want to do and learn from them. Get a coach if you have to. Make sure to be coachable! Read new books! Stretch Yourself!

Daily Affirmation: Today is an Amazing Day! I am stretching myself and expanding my mind! My mind and body are flexible and flowing. I easily flow with life and change. My life is divinely guided and I am always headed in the best direction! I love myself! I am vibrant and alive! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! Love Lenses !

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Joyful moments continue to come my way all the time! I choose not to life a life of blame and guilt but of love. When my students behave in a way  that is foreign to me, I try to view it through the eyes of love. I just smile and say, “What are you doing?” Most of the time they say, “I don’t know.” My response is, “Well would you try doing what I asked until you can figure out what you’re doing?” LOL! One thing I will say is working with children will make you tired mentally and physically. Sometimes I think it would probably be easier for me if I got mad and yelled a lot like I used to. But then I remember that’s what made me leave the classroom the first time. When I see my students through the eyes of love instead of guilt and blame, we both have a wonderful learning experience! Teaching is much more fun when I look through my love lenses!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day!!!! I have amazing potential! I love my life. I see through the eyes of love. I love and approve of myself just as I am right here and now. Testify Thursday!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!!! This was an Amazing Week! We were off Monday! So Tuesday when we got to school, I thought the children would be all wound up. But thankful in my morning meditation, I have been turning my focus to things that I do want and not the things I don’t. Just like when you buy and new car, it seems like you see that car everywhere and all the time. That’s how this week has been. I only saw the behaviors that I wanted to see. Our mind is a powerful tool!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I love and approve of myself just as I am. I teach with joy and ease! I am vibrant and alive! Joyful things always come my way. More Turning your Focus!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!!! What does your heart long to be? You can be it! What does your heart long to do? You can do it! Sometimes it’s hard to step outside of where we currently are, and see ourselves in another way. But if you can go in your mind and “change the channel” from your current circumstance to what you would like your life to be; you will start seeing evidence of it! Just learn to turn your focus! Our minds are more powerful than we think! I just believe that God will not jump into action and start moving and rearranging the universe until you can at least the possibilities for yourself. Then once you see it. Start giving your full attention to that vision and only that!

Turn Your Focus!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! What we focus on the most, is what we get! I was listening to a gospel song yesterday and it was talking about being born blessed. I thought to myself, “What an awesome song!” As I continued to listened, I heard the soloist mention everything except being blessed. Heartache, pain, suffering, storm, and rain. Then I thought, “Hmmm I’m only singing the solo part.” I turned that song off. 

Then I thought, ” How many other songs have talked about the bad things that could happen, just to make us appreciate the good?” I think that is just human nature and our belief in struggling. Just like at church we sing, “There is power in the name of Jesus, to break every chain.” But then for half of the song, we spend the time talking about the chains that are falling. If I were the writer. I would change the words from, “I hear the chains falling” to “Jesus the chain breaker”. That’s just a sketching example, but I hope you can see what I mean. We tend to always focus on the negative. Even in places where we should be getting positively motivated, we sometimes still focus on the negative. I say, “Turn your focus!” Sometimes I’m listening to a speaker and in my mind I have to say, “That may be true for you, but that’s not true for me!” I turn my focus to the ease of life, the joy of life, the love in life! As you go today, listen to what you sing, listen to what you say, listen to what you pray, listen to what you think about. Turn your focus to JOY, LOVE, PEACE! I used to say, “I am the head and not the tail.” Now I just say, “I AM THE HEAD!”

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I am the head! I am Above! I am the Lender! I am vibrant and alive! I love myself! My life is filled with JOY, LOVE, PEACE, and EASE! It’s Friday. . . Oh Thank Heavens!!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Powerful World Changers! Everyday is a Day of Thanksgiving! I stand in appreciation of the love God shows us everyday! Today I am especially glad it’s Friday! This has been a wonderful week! It’s not like I’ve been waiting for Friday to close this horrible week. Nope that’s not it! All week long God has been giving me reason to be joyful! I can’t wait to see what he will send my way today! I’m looking forward to each new hour!  My students and I read my affirmation “ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD” everyday and one of  5th graders slyly said yesterday, “All is well in the world? You must not watch the news?” I answered no I don’t. He says, “Yeah it is kind of depressing.” This kind of made me sad that our children don’t see our world as a safe place to be. However one of my other students came in and said, “That’s why he says All is well, because that’s what he is wishing for!” They seem to understand, then they read it again! That brought me joy! There is always reasons to rejoice! There are miracles all around! Have a Happy Friday!!!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!! This has been an Awesome week!!! The children have been behaving just as they are supposed to. There was this one time this week when the controlling Mr. Demby came out and it kind of scared a few children. Really it scared me enough that I made the whole class meditate. I was screaming at the kids because they kept making mistakes and bumping into each other. Several of them were rolling around on the floor. They were just plain Loopy! So after I made about three of them cry, I realized we couldn’t continue like that. So I stopped and turned out the lights and made everybody sit and close their eyes. We then meditated for 6 minutes. It helped us both! The rest of the day was smooth sailing!

Allowed to be Out of Control

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers!!!! I was just thinking about what happened yesterday. I had another teacher in my room. I won’t go into the why. (LONG STORY) Anyway, she stayed in my room the whole day. It seemed as if the children were out of control. They weren’t doing anything but talking out of turn. I felt the urge to try to control the talking and pass out punishments because I felt embarrassed. However, I resisted that urge and I ended up having a wonderful day! Sometimes allowing other people to be themselves and who they are will help you more than it helps them. It makes life so much more easier when you realize that only God is in control and you don’t have to go through life controlling everything and everyone.

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Awesome and Amazing Day! I have released the need to control everything and everyone. I trust the process of life. I trust God to bring me my highest good! Might as Well. . . .

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Life is short so we might as well. . . . . How many times have you heard this? Most of the time something destructive follows; like smoking, drinking, drugs. . .  etc. . . . or something fun like bungee jumping, sky diving, mountain climbing. . . . .Well I say Life is short, so we might as well go after our dreams! I’m a teacher! I when I was in college, I couldn’t wait to be a teacher! My dream in life was to be a teacher! We’re off in the summer, we get all those holidays, we get health care, and other benefits! But years ago, my mind was opened to a whole new world. I didn’t want to be in the classroom anymore. I had a dream for my life! I could write books and teach teachers how to have a more positive classroom environment! It was scary stepping outside of the classroom. i didn’t know what to do. It seemed as I was going backward but  I had plenty of freedom, I was doing a few workshops, and selling a few books every now and then. The money from this wasn’t enough to have the lifestyle I was used to while I was teaching. So I went back into the classroom. I felt I was back in bondage. Instead fording ahead and making my dreams work, I went back to doing what I though was safe. However, with budget cuts and things coming down the line. Being a music teacher is not a safe position to have. So if there is a possibility to fail doing something you don’t want to do, you might as well jump towards your dreams!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Awesome Day! I am determined. I am alive and vibrant! I love my life! I am doing what I love. I am making enough money to supply my needs and provide my wants. Ask and Ye Shall Receive

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Have you ever asked somebody to something, but you asked from the stand point of the victim? I’m sure your request was not granted. They show it on horror movies all the time. The victim is screaming, “Please don’t kill me!” and what ends up happening? SPLAT! that’s the one he kills. But the one who survives is the one who gathers themselves and chooses not to be the helpless victim. No matter how bad the killer hurts them, they are still determined to survive. The Bible says, ask and ye shall receive. However, the universe and it’s Creator (God) only hear your thoughts. If you asking for more money but in your mind you’re saying, “Woe is me. I’ve always been poor” What do you think you will receive? Many times we don’t realize what we’re doing to ourself. We might say, “I want to be a millionaire!” But in our minds we are saying, “Look at those rich people on TV, they are so wasteful.” If you don’t appreciate the rich people you see, what do you think the universe hears? Tony Robbins says Ask intelligently, and ye shall recieve. In order to do this, you have to think about what you think about. Go back in life and look at the ungranted request, and honestly think about what your mental state was at that time. Look at it this way. As a teacher or parent, when you ask your children to do something, you expect them to do it; no questions asked.When you ask from this mind-set, they do it! Start asking God, expecting it to be done and focus only on that. Don’t focus on why you need it and how bad things have been. Otherwise you will go back to not receiving .
