Might as Well. . . .

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Life is short so we might as well. . . . . How many times have you heard this? Most of the time something destructive follows; like smoking, drinking, drugs. . .  etc. . . . or something fun like bungee jumping, sky diving, mountain climbing. . . . .Well I say Life is short, so we might as well go after our dreams! I’m a teacher! I when I was in college, I couldn’t wait to be a teacher! My dream in life was to be a teacher! We’re off in the summer, we get all those holidays, we get health care, and other benefits! But years ago, my mind was opened to a whole new world. I didn’t want to be in the classroom anymore. I had a dream for my life! I could write books and teach teachers how to have a more positive classroom environment! It was scary stepping outside of the classroom. i didn’t know what to do. It seemed as I was going backward but  I had plenty of freedom, I was doing a few workshops, and selling a few books every now and then. The money from this wasn’t enough to have the lifestyle I was used to while I was teaching. So I went back into the classroom. I felt I was back in bondage. Instead fording ahead and making my dreams work, I went back to doing what I though was safe. However, with budget cuts and things coming down the line. Being a music teacher is not a safe position to have. So if there is a possibility to fail doing something you don’t want to do, you might as well jump towards your dreams!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Awesome Day! I am determined. I am alive and vibrant! I love my life! I am doing what I love. I am making enough money to supply my needs and provide my wants. Ask and Ye Shall Receive

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! Have you ever asked somebody to something, but you asked from the stand point of the victim? I’m sure your request was not granted. They show it on horror movies all the time. The victim is screaming, “Please don’t kill me!” and what ends up happening? SPLAT! that’s the one he kills. But the one who survives is the one who gathers themselves and chooses not to be the helpless victim. No matter how bad the killer hurts them, they are still determined to survive. The Bible says, ask and ye shall receive. However, the universe and it’s Creator (God) only hear your thoughts. If you asking for more money but in your mind you’re saying, “Woe is me. I’ve always been poor” What do you think you will receive? Many times we don’t realize what we’re doing to ourself. We might say, “I want to be a millionaire!” But in our minds we are saying, “Look at those rich people on TV, they are so wasteful.” If you don’t appreciate the rich people you see, what do you think the universe hears? Tony Robbins says Ask intelligently, and ye shall recieve. In order to do this, you have to think about what you think about. Go back in life and look at the ungranted request, and honestly think about what your mental state was at that time. Look at it this way. As a teacher or parent, when you ask your children to do something, you expect them to do it; no questions asked.When you ask from this mind-set, they do it! Start asking God, expecting it to be done and focus only on that. Don’t focus on why you need it and how bad things have been. Otherwise you will go back to not receiving .

Testify Thursday!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends!!!!! I don’t know aout you, but we have been in school for almost 3 weeks now! I am super excited! My children have been behaving quite nicely! Truly all is well in my classroom. Today is just a day of reflection! I thank God for allowing me to have such a peaceful and wonderful classroom! I was telling another teacher, “If talking is the only rule the children are breaking, I can handle that”. I just let them talk and wait paitiently for them to get quiet when I need to say something. My classroom is a peaceful haven and I am totally grateful!

Daily Affirmations: Today is and amazing day! I love teaching! It’s fun! It’s easy! It’s nice! It’s my passion! It’s brings me joy! It’s what I do! My classroom is a peaceful haven! Stretch Yourself!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends!!! I heard a commercial say, “A body in motion, likes to stay in motion”. This is the reason we should always stretch every morning and keep our bodies moving. If you are a vocalist, you start warming up and stretching your voice before you start using it. This is how we should do with our minds! How wonderful it would be if our thinking could be stretched and easily flow with change. So let’s stretch our minds past the old way of thinking. Find books, blogs, seminars, and videos that are different than the way you believe and listen with love. You might be able to take something from it. Now I never read or listen to people that spew hate and intolerance. I try to find new ideals about life to learn from. I take what I can use and discard the rest! Just like when the movie “The Secret” was released, I hadn’t heard of the Law of Attraction before. When I would tell people about it, they would say, “You better leave that junk alone”. Now there are great deals of books, videos, and teachers that teach the law of attraction. Stretch Yourself: Learn Something New!

No More Autopilot, Choose Joy!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends!!! Sometimes we don’t pay attention to how we feel. Well if you’re like me, sometimes I just move through the day on autopilot. Not really sad, not really angry, not really happy, not really excited; just here. Doing this has not created my best life! Doing this has not  created a vibrant classroom either. Maybe that’s why we get so angry at students who step outside of our expectations; they make us turn off autopilot. Well starting now I will no longer live on autopilot! I will recognize how I feel, and choose Joy!

What’s Wrong With You Wednesday

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends! This week is coming swiftly to a close. It’s Wednesday already. I’m not sure but it seems like I have been really emotional the past few days. I was in the uber office yesterday and this lady just kept talking and talking. That really got on my nerves. I mean so much that I started getting angry. She wasn’t even talking to me, nor did she prevent the person I walked in with from being waited on. But there I was, feeling angry for no apparent reason. I had to sit quiet, close my eyes, stop, think, and breathe. I had to go deep within to the classroom of my mind to realize why I was going against everything I believe. I then searched for the best feeling thought that I could find. “All is well and I am safe!” As I sat there I realized that there are a great deal of changes happening in my life and it feels like I’m all over the place. I know the path I want but at the same time, I know the safe path as well. Then I remembered that Abraham always says that we should try to flow downstream and not try to force a path. The universe will make the way easy  and all we have to do is move in the direction of what feels good.

Mighty Monday!!!!

Good Morning All who Educate in form or another! Today is an Amazing Day! We are mighty! We are very powerful. Our minds can create what we want in our lives. It may take a while but if you work at it, you will soon become an awesome creator. So as you go today, keep doing your affirmations. You will see little changes that will soon turn into big changes. If you keep at it, you will change your whole life! I read my affirmation throughout the day, all day! I have seen great changes in my classroom since I started this journey. The things that used to aggrevate me don’t even phase me anymore. I had to learn that affirmations don’t change others, it only changes me. And changing me and the way I think and believe is the only thing I have control over! I am so grateful to God for making the changes that I create in my mind. I am a Mighty Creator!

Good Morning Most Awesome Educators and friends! Sometimes I have to just look at my life and have appreciation for who I am. I am happy to me! Life is great and always getting better! We are all winners! If we just look at every life experience as an opportunity to learn and grow, we would all see that everything is working for our highest good! #WINNER When you see life like this, you can’t help but be a winner! The more we control our thinking and choose more positive beliefs, the more we would see that we win! Even if things are happening that we feel is not so good, when you look at it a different way – YOU WIN! Even when “All Hell Is Breaking Loose”, if you can see that as life working toward your highest good – YOU WIN!

Magical Monday

Good Morning Most Awesome Educators and Friends!!!! Today is Monday. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will Rejoice and be Glad in it! Today I am loving myself and loving life! The more we love life and love ourselves, we will find little miracles everywhere! Look for and expect miracles! Just waking up and being able wash your face and brush your teeth, that’s a miracle. Just being able to drive to and from work, that’s a miracle. Finding that $10 bill that you left in your pocket, that’s a miracle. That student that aggravates you the most comes to your class and is very agreeable or doesn’t show up, that’s a miracle. Keep looking for little miracles around you today and you will have a Magical Monday!

Throwout Thursday!

Good Morning most Awesome Educators and friends! As I reflect on yesterday, I must confess. I believe I yelled and put students out of my room several times for one thing or another. To me this is my need to control still trying to hang on. Today I’m throwing it out! Every person in my life is a mirror of me. So the people or students that annoy me, only annoy me because they’re showing me apart of myself that I try to keep hidden. Today, I’m going deep within my mind to find that part of myself and I’m throwing it out!

Daily Affirmations: Every feeling I have is just a thought and thoughts can be changed. I release the thoughts and feelings that no longer serve me. I now claim my power to change my reality by changing my thoughts. I love myself exactly as I am right now. I sprinkle love to every part of me that I am releasing.
