Child! It’s Time!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I’ve often heard Les Brown talk about the dog laying on a nail. He says he was walking by a house and saw the dog laying there moaning. He asked the owner what was wrong? The owner says he’s laying on a nail. Les asked, why doesn’t he get off the nail? The owner it doesn’t hurt bad enough to get off, it just hurts enough to moan and groan. Many of us are in that space. We find life dealing us the same hand over and over. It’s just bad enough to moan and groan. However, I just told my friend once I get to the point of crying about it, that means action must be taken. If it hurts bad enough to cry, it hurts bad enough for you to make a change. You don’t have to wait til it gets that far but crying is a good indication for change. Crying means; child, it’s time to change.

Daily Affirmations: Today is a Most Wonderful Day! I choose to feel good about myself. I can be okay with me and still make changes. I love myself. My life is divinely guided and I am always headed in the best direction. I move and live with joy and ease. I am healthy, wealthy, whole, and complete. ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM. ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL. ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD. ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE. #IBlessMyWorldWithLove

Waymaker Wednesday!

Good Morning Most Precious Educators and Friends!!!!! Today is an Amazing Day! God is all powerful! He allows our thoughts to create what happens in our life. I am grateful for that! I recently gave up a lump sum of money for charity. After doing this, I just kept saying “My income is constantly increasing.” (Louise Hay) and “God’s wealth is circulating in my life. His wealth flows to me like avalanches of abundance. All my needs, desires, and goals are met instantaneously by infinite intelligence for I am one with God and God is everything!” (This came from Tony Robbins)

Well anyway after my bills came out, I would’ve had next to nothing in my account. But when I looked today, there was a deposit there. Now I have been expecting this deposit, I just wasn’t sure when it was coming. I am just grateful it came today!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! Life is for me! God is so good! I am grateful for all he does for me! My income is constantly increasing! I Love and Approve of myself! ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove

What’s Wrong With You Wednesday

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful Educators and Friends! This week is coming swiftly to a close. It’s Wednesday already. I’m not sure but it seems like I have been really emotional the past few days. I was in the uber office yesterday and this lady just kept talking and talking. That really got on my nerves. I mean so much that I started getting angry. She wasn’t even talking to me, nor did she prevent the person I walked in with from being waited on. But there I was, feeling angry for no apparent reason. I had to sit quiet, close my eyes, stop, think, and breathe. I had to go deep within to the classroom of my mind to realize why I was going against everything I believe. I then searched for the best feeling thought that I could find. “All is well and I am safe!” As I sat there I realized that there are a great deal of changes happening in my life and it feels like I’m all over the place. I know the path I want but at the same time, I know the safe path as well. Then I remembered that Abraham always says that we should try to flow downstream and not try to force a path. The universe will make the way easy  and all we have to do is move in the direction of what feels good.

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I am so excited about the way my life is moving! I deserve the best and I accept the best now! I am planting the right seeds in my mind and they are starting to grow! I love myself! I approve of myself! I am totally grateful to all that I have! ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove

Watch It Wednesday!

Good Morning most Awesome Wonderful Educators and Friends!!!!!! I believe Frank Outlaw penned a little saying that says, Watch you thoughts (Thoughts that teachers are respected and appreciated or teachers are used and underpaid), They become words (“I love teaching! I enjoy coming to work!” or “I’m tired of this job. These children are horrible”)

Watch your words (“Everybody is always helpful. I am supported well.” or “These parents don’t do anything, uugghhh! Our administration doesn’t support us”), They become actions (loving the children and teaching with joy, or spreading sarcasm and being angry all the time)

Watch your actions (having high standards and expectations and giving extra help to students who need it or passing kids along just to get rid of them) They become habits (Staying late working to make sure that your class can handle various learning styles, or just printing worksheets and lecturing the whole time)

Watch your habits (using your own money to purchase things for your class, or stealing from other teachers who may have laid items down in the lounge) They become character (Are you a good teacher or  Are you a Bad teacher?)

Watch your character, It becomes your destiny!

Since education feeds every facet of the world’s systems it makes me wonder. . .  What our world would look like if our teachers were more positive and upbeat? Then I am thankful that the point of power is always in the present moment! We can change the world and it only starts with a thought. So watch it!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I love teaching! I love my students and they love me! I take great joy in coming to work! I am molding the future of our planet! ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove

Wobbling Wavering Wednesday!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome Wonderful Educators! I just gonna be very honest! It must be because I’m tired. The past few days I have gone to bed at 2:00am and gotten back up at 6:30am like clock work. I always say follow your feelings but the past few days it has given me joy to be mean and surly. LOL! (Now that just made me laugh! That came from a movie with Whoopi Goldberg, when she put on her husband’s gravestone. . .  Mean & Surly. . . . LOL!) Well this is just what I’m talking about. Yesterday when I woke up, I was playing my music and singing and dancing! I was very upbeat. But as soon as I got to school, I felt like being mean and surly! I actually enjoyed it. Until my Kindergarteners came in. They won’t allow me being grumpy to stop them from singing, playing, laughing, and dancing! It was so funny because one of them came up to talk to me and I didn’t turn to look at him but I answered. I just didn’t look at him so he stood right there and kept calling my name. At that moment, I decided to shake off my hatefulness and put on a smile and turn to him. He simply said “I missed you” and gave me a hug followed by the rest of the class . It was like they knew I wasn’t myself and waited for me to bring the vibration of joy back into my mind! That was enough to keep me going for the rest of the day!

I mentioned this story about yesterday, because I woke up this morning in the same head space. But just remembering that moment with my kids really gave me life. It’s funny, as I walked around telling other teachers I was feeling Mean and Surly. They all said “Didn’t you do your positive thing this morning?” That the thing; I did do it! But that’s why I’m sharing this story. To show that it is truly a choice. I choose JOY! People think you can’t have days like this when you’re normally a positive person. However one of my affirmations says, “Everyone is always helpful” and “I love my students and they love me”. So even when I feel at my lowest, God sends someone to pull me out of it! To help me choose a joyful thought! Many times it is my students. They seem to have a keen sense to gauge emotions and they know exactly what to do and say to help people from being Wobbling and Wavering!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I love my life! I love and approve of myself as I am right here and now! I love the people I work with! Everyone is always helpful. I love my students. I bless each one with love. I know that the love I send to my students and fellow teachers, comes back to me. ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove

Waking Up Wednesday!

Good Morning Wonderful Educators and Friends! I was just sitting here thinking about my students, of course. LOL! I started realizing that my tolerance grows as the week progresses. On Monday, I am the teacher that doesn’t want any talking but yesterday it didn’t bother me at all. I just use my catch phrase, “Oh dear, I’ll wait”. This works for me. The students seem to instantly get quiet. I bet my Monday classes are probably wondering what’s wrong with me. I have learned that as a teacher, you really can’t have many buttons to push or pet peeves. Having these will keep you a miserable and angry teacher. I’m waking up physically but I’m also waking up mentally. By waking up, I mean, coming to a realization of why I do certain things. It’s hard to make positive changes, if you don’t go within to figure out what you do and why you do it! So today, let’s visit the classroom of our mind and WAKE UP!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! I Bless my students with love. I teach with ease. I see my students learning with ease! I am free of all negative thinking. I release the need to try to control everything and everyone. I trust the process of life. I love and approve of myself! I WAKE UP in my mind’s classroom daily. I am learning and growing everyday! ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE! ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM! ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMySchoolWithLove
