Tell the Story Tuesday!!!!

Good Morning Most Awesome and Wonderful World Changers! I  remember a scripture that says speak those things as though they are. That’s what my affirmations are. Sometimes it seems as if I’m lying to myself until I remember affirmations tell the story that we want not the story that is. Yesterday a very sad situation happened. When my students get in trouble I have them copy the affirmation poster I have around my classroom. The first one said, “My Life is Fabulous”. One student just started screaming and being very rude. For the rest of the class no matter what we did, he yelled out, “this is stupid”. We were playing instruments so it didn’t bother us enough that he had to be removed. However, I asked him to stay after so we could talk. After looking at his paper, I almost cried. “I hate my life” When I asked him why he said, bad things keep happening to him and his family. So I talk to him about affirmations and why we use them. They tell the story that we want not the story that is. After it was all said and done he asked me if he could say, “My Life is good. I like my life” That’s a great start!

Daily Affirmations: Today is an Amazing Day! The more I tell about the good in my life, the more good comes my way! All is well in my life! I am open and receptive to all good! I love and approve of myself. I am vibrant and alive. I trust the process of life. ALL IS WELL IN MY CLASSROOM!  ALL IS WELL IN MY SCHOOL! ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD! #IBlessMyWorldWithLove
