The Cost of Freedom!

Is there a cost for freedom? Does one group suffer, in order for another to go free? What is “freedom” anyway? Can we actually do what we want, when we want, how we want? Or is freedom just a lie we tell ourselves as we fit into someone else’s mold of who we should be? Whatever freedom is or whatever we think it is, there is a price. For example, in the African American community, the price for today’s freedoms were paid by the generation before. ( I’m really conflicted about this example. It’s just something about desiring the greener grass on the other side, rather than making the brown grass that you have greener) I digress. Anyway another example would be our military, who sacrifice theirs lives, their family, their limbs, and their sanity so that can have the freedoms of being American.

I used to tell my Godson, ” everything that’s free, ain’t always free!” When you’re given something, there is always an expectation that you will something back. Whatever it may be. The next few days we will discuss Freedom and what it means. Please share your thoughts. Sometimes I’m way off in what I’m thinking.

Freedom Affirmations: My Mind is free and clear. I am free to think positive thoughts. I am free to live a prosperous and healthy life. I am free to explore all that my mind can explore. I have an open mind. I love and approve of myself. I am free to move with joy and ease! ALL IS WELL IN MY MIND. ALL IS WELL IN MY LIFE. ALL IS WELL IN MY WORLD. ALL IS WELL AND I AM SAFE. #IBlessMyWorldWithLove
